To ACC Medical Student Members:

Are you interested in sharing your personal views and experiences with other medical students around the world? If so, don't miss out on a great opportunity to become more involved with the American College of Cardiology!

The Medical Student Leadership Group welcomes ACC medical student members to submit interview articles and perspective pieces designed to share stories and exchange strategies with colleagues who understand the challenges and opportunities you face.

Submissions will be reviewed as described in the Author Instructions, available on the News and Perspectives Page. Accepted papers will be published on ACC.org. Interview articles are designed for ACC medical student members to interview a mentor or cardiologist who wants to share insight about their career or research and reflect on their inspirations, challenges, etc. they faced during their medical training.

Perspective pieces can range in variety and discuss topics such as, but not limited to, personal experiences, patient encounters, research experiences, advice for students, mentorship, career goals, advocacy, diversity & inclusion, entrepreneurship, well-being and burnout, and opinion.

If you are interested in submitting a perspective piece or an interview article, please push the button below to fill out this form to indicate your interest and the editorial board will be in contact with you.

Thank you and we look forward to working with you very soon,
