The ACC hosted its first patient forum focused on diabetes and heart disease, Living Well With Type 2 Diabetes and Cardiovascular Disease, on Oct. 30 at ACC's Heart House.

The forum welcomed patients and clinicians to garner patient perspectives on living with diabetes and learning about accepting and managing the parallel risk for cardiovascular disease. These shared insights will help inform programming and identify strategies to improve cardiovascular disease management and risk reduction in this patient population.
