With the U.S. Food and Drug Administration approving a growing number of products that can perform quantitative coronary plaque analysis (QCPA), a new ACC Scientific Statement provides consensus recommendations on the appropriate use of QCPA in clinical practice. The statement was developed by a panel of experts convened by the College to develop guidance for cardiovascular clinicians and imagers.
