Call to Action:
Stop the Cuts

The ACC is urging members of Congress to co-sponsor the Preserving Seniors' Access to Physicians Act of 2023 (H.R. 6683) and support its inclusion in any upcoming appropriations package. This proposed legislation would eliminate the 3.37% cut to the Medicare Physician Fee Schedule that took effect at the start of this year.

ACC members are encouraged to join the College's grassroots effort by sending a message to their congressional leaders urging them to act. "While addressing this cut is critical, it is a short-term adjustment that will not create a long-term solution," said ACC President B. Hadley Wilson, MD, FACC. "It is necessary to protect patients now while we work together on lasting reform." Click here to take action.
