As part of the latest issue of JACC, Editor-in-Chief Valentin Fuster, MD, PhD, MACC, has published his annual Editor-in-Chief's Top Picks. Each year, Fuster personally selects the top 100 papers from the previous year, including both original investigations and review articles from 15 distinct specialties.

In addition to his personal choices, papers that have been the most accessed or downloaded, as well as those selected by JACC Editorial Board members are included. To provide the research in a consumable format, the top pick abstracts and Central Illustrations are provided in the article, as well as slides for each paper in the appendix for the authors who wish to present on JACC papers.
