The ACC Educator Series is a comprehensive, three-course program designed to empower rising educators in cardiovascular medicine. Each course builds on the last, offering practical strategies for applying adult learning principles to the design, development, implementation and evaluation of educational activities – creating a structured pathway from novice to expert educator.

The series begins with foundational skill-building for novice educators and progresses toward advanced training for those seeking to become expert-level educators and leaders within the ACC. Graduates of the program will be well-prepared to take on education leadership roles within the ACC and advance their careers. Participation is application-based, and whether you teach in a clinical or academic setting, these courses will help you become a more effective and impactful educator.

Advanced Concepts

The capstone of the series is exclusively for graduates of the Emerging Faculty course. Learners will have the opportunity to demonstrate the skills acquired throughout the series, showcasing their ability to teach and lead at the expert level in both clinical and academic settings.
