Three JACC Journals not previously included in Impact Factor rankings – JACC: Clinical Electrophysiology, JACC: Basic to Translational Science and JACC: CardioOncology – will receive their first Impact Factors later this year. Annual Journal Citation Reports (JCR) published by Clarivate Analytics provide a combination of impact and influence metrics from Web of Science source data.

The measure provides a ratio of citations to a journal in a given year to the citable items in the prior two years. In 2020, the 2019 JCR for Cardiac & Cardiovascular Systems were released, ranking four JACC Journals in the top 12 among all 141 English-language cardiovascular journals. JACC celebrated an impressive threshold, an Impact Factor higher than 20, and an overall rank of third among cardiovascular journals worldwide.
