After considerable discussion and deliberation, the ACC has voted to rename the Surgeons' Member Section to the Cardiac Surgery Team Member Section.

The name change – which will soon take effect on the Section website and on ACC materials – reflects a renewed emphasis on all members of the cardiac surgery team, from surgeons and cardiologists to imaging specialists, nurses, PAs and all those involved in the care of cardiothoracic and vascular surgery patients.

You can still opt into the Section and join your community even if you have already paid your 2020 dues; just visit the dues portal.
