MedAxiom and Wharton Online Team Up to Empower CV Leaders

THE PULSE OF ACC

More than 50 cardiovascular professionals and clinicians took part in the first cohort of the Cardiovascular Business and Management Essentials Program developed by MedAxiom and Wharton Online. The second cohort will kick off this month.

The four-month program, which launched last year, is focused on delivering the essential skills and business acumen needed to lead in the competitive and rapidly changing cardiovascular health care landscape. Featuring world-class faculty with expertise on health care operations, health care leadership and management, and health care economics, the program weaves together an innovative blend of live and asynchronous sessions.

The program combines MedAxiom's commitment to education, innovation and community with the power of Wharton's research-based executive programs. Taken together, participants come away with not only business fundamentals, but critical and competitive strategies necessary to lead and navigate the continuously changing cardiovascular landscape.
