ACC CardiaCast: An Introduction to CardioNutrition

In this CardioNutrition episode, host Robert Ostfeld, MD, MSc, FACC, Director of Preventive Cardiology at Montefiore Health System, and Professor of Medicine at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, introduces the CardioNutrition program. The CardioNutrition program will provide 3 months of information-packed nutrition-focused interviews for the cardiologist, healthcare professional, and anyone interested in nutrition! Leaders in the field will discuss fats, protein, carbs, and dietary patterns such as Mediterranean, plant-based, ketogenic, and intermittent fasting. The CardioNutrition program will review the nutrition recommendations in the ACC guidelines, practical ways to weave nutrition recommendations into our busy clinical practices, as well as how to get reimbursed for nutrition counseling and drive behavior change! Please let us know what you think. Enjoy!
