As we saw in 2020, 2021 was a year where scientific information about COVID-19, its prevention, diagnosis, treatment, vaccination, and effects on patients with cardiovascular disorders, was the most popular in terms of visitors to ACC.org's journal scans. In creating a COVID-19 Hub, ACC has tried to make all of this critical information available in one location, delivered in a timely manner, and always carefully vetted for quality. Hopefully 2022 will see us get our collective arms around this pandemic in such a way that we can again refocus on other "matters of the heart" that are so critical to our patients, families, staff and learners!

It was a great year for clinical trial coverage on ACC.org! There were over 120,000 views of the top 10 trials for the year. We saw data released on sacubitril/valsartan, SGLT2 inhibitors, and anti-thrombotic strategies. Understandably, COVID-19 was a hot topic this year, and it was great to see cardiologists leading many of the informative trials. There were also trial updates that made the top 10 list—specifically, EMPEROR-Reduced, COMPASS, SPRINT, and DAPA-HF. In the past few months, we have added some new features for our learners to distinguish the new changes that resulted in our updated clinical trial summaries. We are always striving at ACC.org to make it as easy as possible for our learners to keep up with the rapid pace of new, relevant clinical information. If you have any feedback on how we can serve you better, we are all ears. On behalf of the ACC.org staff, Happy Holidays and a joyous New Year to you all!
