ACC and NCDR Committee Applications

ACC Committee Applications

Each fall, the ACC Nominating Committee invites dedicated and passionate members to apply for leadership roles across more than 70 committees, helping shape the future of cardiovascular care.

ACC offers more than 900 Committee and Council positions, but only about 25% become available annually. This means each year presents a limited yet meaningful opportunity for members to step into leadership roles and contribute to the College's mission.

Purpose and Impact

ACC's governance process is intentionally designed to connect exceptional talent with strategic opportunities, ensuring each committee is equipped with the expertise, diversity, and vision needed to drive meaningful progress in cardiovascular care.

Committee composition may vary year to year based on current ACC priorities, the skills and perspectives of existing members, and the evolving competencies needed as part of the natural rotation process.

Diversity and Inclusion

We are deeply committed to building diverse, inclusive committees that reflect the full breadth of our profession, across backgrounds, cultures, specialties, practice settings, and career stages.

The Nominating Committee actively encourages applicants representing a wide range of personal and professional backgrounds, recognizing that diverse perspectives are essential to driving innovation and excellence in cardiovascular care.
