His tips include: 1) ensure you are or you have a strong advocate on your behalf; 2) if you are admitted to the hospital during the COVID-19 pandemic, be sure to determine a method of communication with your family or caregivers ahead of time; and 3) make sure to stay connected with your care team during and after the pandemic – whether through phone calls, video visits or email.
